About the Scholars:

 Jessica Houk, MD -- Duke

"Dr Jessica Houk is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine where she served as Chair of the Women in Radiology student interest group and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.  She began her residency in radiology at Duke in 2017 and has been a strong female leader from the beginning and serves as a role model to all residents.  Jess is kind, hard-working, and a radiology superstar - she probably has more cases placed into our "Great Calls" folder by faculty than any other R2 at Duke!" -- Karen Johnson, MD

Lynn DellaGrotta, MD -- Wake Forest

“Our NCRS ACR Resident Scholar, Dr. Lynn DellaGrotta, is very devoted to being  involved in the ACR. Lynn is already a leader locally at our institution. She is the Chair of the Wake Forest Resident Quality Council for our entire institution and serves as the resident representative on the institution's GME Committee representing all of the residents for all specialties on issues affecting resident education and training, wellness, and patient safety and quality improvement. Lynn is devoted to increasing exposure of the field of radiology for medical students and she runs the institution's medical student shadowing portion of our medical student Radiology Scholars Certificate Program. Lynn is also an active member of our department's Women in Radiology Group.
